Earned five letters in baseball at William Penn Charter School, the same prep institution that has produced ACC sports standouts such as Boston College quarterback Matt Ryan and University of Virginia point guard Sean Singletary... earned first team All-Inter-Academic League honors 2005-07... named the 2005 Inter-Academic League MVP after leading the Quakers to the conference championship... 2007 Daily News Pitcher of the Year... selected as a Puma Preseason All-American 2005-07 and a Louisville Slugger Preseason All-American in 2007... ranked by Baseball America as one of the country's top 100 prospects for class of 2007... selected to play in the Perfect Game National Showcase, Tournament of Stars and East Coast Professional Showcase in the summer of 2006... named to the 2005 Team One National Undergraduate Showcase and to the 2006 Team One Cape Cod High School Classic, which chooses the top 32 high school baseball players in the country.
