Full name is Cheyenne Nicole Woods... Born July 25, 1990 in Phoenix, Ariz.... Played for coach Lynn Winsor at Xavier College Preperatory HS... A four-time letterman at Xavier College Prep... Was named the most valuable player three times by her high school golf teammates... Won back-to-back Arizona 5A State Championships in 2006 and 2007... Never finished lower than fifth in the state championship... Was a two-time regional champion in Arizona... Was named the 2007 Arizona High School Golfer of the Year by the Arizona Republic... Has won more than 30 amateur titles including the Big I Junior Classic and the American Junior Golf Association's Nike Golf Junior... The daughter of Earl Woods, Jr. and Susan Woods... Teammates of Woods' from Xavier College Prep who have played or will play golf collegiately include Amanda Blumenherst (Duke), Marissa Smith and Margarita Ramos (Arizona), Melissa Mabanta (UNLV), Ashley Smith (Arizona State), Alexia Brown (Portland State) and Katie Allare (Notre Dame).
