JUNIOR SEASON
Compiled a solid record during the year finishing 17-14 overall in singles....played a majority of her matches at the numbers five and six spots, going 5-3 at number five and 4-4 at number six....finished the fall season with a 6-3 and a 3-5 record in ACC play....compiled an overall doubles record of 16-15 teaming up with Amie Smith for a 6-7 record....also teamed with Ashlee Davis to go 5-3 and Alex Hirsch to go 4-4....played several matches in the number one doubles spot and a majority of the matches at the number two spot....Schwartz is expected to contribute a significant amount in her senior season....will be a strong factor in both singles and doubles play throughout the season.
SOPHOMORE SEASON
Led the team with 22 doubles victories ... had 14 singles wins, inclduing 10 in dual play ... won 15 dual doubles matches and went 5-2 in ACC doubles play ... played every doubles match but two with partner Katie Martzolf ... played at No. 2 in doubles mostly and floated around from No. 3 to No. 6 all spring in singles play logging nine matches at No. 3 and eight and No. 5 ... teamed up with Martzolf to upset Bern and Pinchbeck from North Carolina 9-7, who were ranked 65th on Apr. 1, but finished the season 45th ... also teamed with Martzolf to upset #10 McCain and Adams from Duke on Apr. 9 and #31 James and Stern from Virginia on Apr. 12 ... picked 15th in the Dec. 10 fall regional doubles rankings with Martzolf ... went 4-5 in fall singles play and 7-2 in doubles with Martzolf ... won doubles flight at William & Mary Invitational ... finalists in doubles flight at Deacon Classic and won consolation draw of singles flight ... split a pair of doubles matches at ITA Southeast Regional.
FRESHMAN SEASON
Joined the Deacon lineup in January after using the fall to recover from elbow surgery ... made an immediate impact at No. 3 doubles and at the lower end of the singles lineup ... went 10-10 in singles, playing at Nos. 4-6 in the lineup ... went 2-0 at No. 4, 6-2 at No. 5, and 2-8 at No. 6 ... posted a 3-2 mark versus ACC opponents ... teamed up with Katie Martzolf in doubles, going 18-9 ... played all three doubles positions during the season, going 1-0 at No. 1, 2-3 at No. 2 and 15-6 at No. 3 with Martzolf ... went 7-1 versus ACC opponents, including a 7-0 mark at No. 3 ... also won one match with Bielik at No. 2.
PRIOR TO WAKE FOREST
Earned four letters in tennis at Newark Academy ... helped her team win the state championship four straight years ... was a finalist in the state singles championship ... earned first-team all-state honors ... earned a No. 1 national ranking in junior doubles ... competed in doubles in the 1999 Junior U.S. Open.
